A CFR conference, The Next Financial Crisis
    This conference, under the auspices of the Council on Foreign Relations, took place in New York City in July, 2000. It addressed the global vulnerabilities associated with the High-Tech bubble in the U.S. stock markets and with the possibility of another 1987-like market break. Anti-environmental myths
    The link Why I started this page in section Related Web Pages brings up an interview of A Clear View, a Washington DC-based periodical, with Jim Norton who runs this site. In the interview, which was conducted in September, 1997, the site is characterized as "devoted to exposing the propaganda of the anti-environmental lobby". Jim has a BS in environmental studies and a MS in ecology.
